Welcome to Whitney High School!

 

  WHS is an incredible place made special by: its highly motivated students, its dedicated, knowledgeable staff, and its supportive parents. We are proud of our students’ impressive achievements. Most recently, WHS was listed in Newsweek Magazine’s annual “Top 100 Schools” article.

 

  We consider ourselves an alternative education program for college bound students. Our mission is to prepare students for acceptance into their “best match” colleges or universities. The concept is that with over 4500 institutions of higher learning in the United States alone, our students have unbelievable opportunities and so we work closely with them to identify and pursue what is most appropriate for their individual interests, talents, and goals.

 

  Thanks to the hard work of our College Center Specialist, this year’s graduates collectively earned over five million dollars of scholarship funding, which is amazing for a senior class of under a total of 185 students.
