Library Media Center

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm

Standards of Behavior:

1. No food, drink, or gum.

2. Please leave all furniture, including chairs pushed in as you found them.

3. Students must be in their own seat working, not two per chair.

4. One person per computer, unless teacher has given permission to work in groups.

5. Please work silently.

6. Return borrowed books in good condition and promptly.

7. Be courteous and considerate to others in the media lab. Treat library books and equipment with care. Clean your space before leaving.

Library Media Center Services:

-Computers, students must sign-in their name in clipboard to have access to computer usage

-Textbooks assistance or questions, please see Mrs. Hidalgo

-School library books can be checked out with student identification card

-Online resources (such as math textbooks online)

-Borrowing textbook for the day (need to leave your school id with librarian)

-Borrowing textbook for snack, lunch or after-school (need to leave your id and use book in the media lab)

-Printing fee for black and white only is 25 cents a page

-Copier fee is 10 cents a page

-Adventures in Japanese levels 1-3 workbooks, photocopies can be made in library.

-SAT, PSAT and AP Prep books in the library for checkout

-Time Magazine available for checkout

-Need assistance with research assignment, please ask Mrs. Hidalgo

Partnerships

We are currently building relationships with local libraries, Cerritos Public Library and other local libraries in the area where our students live.

Library or Textbook Fines

Mrs. Hidalgo has a list of fines for damaged or lost textbooks in the library, please come in to see her for questions of damages from the District.
